"Welcome to the web site of the Birmingham Branch of the Royal Society of St George. We are primarily a social organisation in which members, their families and friends come together to celebrate a variety of events throughout the year. We hope you enjoy reading our pages and learning a little about our Society."

Darren Reynolds

Chairman

The Birmingham Branch of the Society was established in 1946, and in April 2006 celebrated its 60th anniversary. It is one of fifty branches spread throughout the United Kingdom. There are a further fifty branches or affiliated Societies overseas.

Annual events include a St George's Day celebration Dinner, a civic Church Service, a dinner to celebrate Trafalgar Day in October and an Advent luncheon. We also organise extra activities throughout the year. In 2002 we were pleased to be the hosts of a gala reception and banquet at the Council House, Birmingham to celebrate Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee. In June 2006 we held a garden party at Winterbourne Botanic Gardens to celebrate The Queen's birthday.
